someone got some inside scoop on these guyz... If i never had a local php/mySQL system... i would torment them with my newbie tests of PHP writing... hey they might be February's WHT flava..

I helped with starting up a free PHP/MySQL host. Not to mention that there weren't any ads on the member's pages.

This could be financed through very targetted advertising at our main site where we also had a a lot of guides to PHP including forums.

So hopefully you aren't trying to say that it isn't possible to offer for free because then you are wrong...

Uh, it's not really different then just offering regular free hosting.....PHP and MySQL are both free

Nothing wrong with whats being offered for free :)
In fact, in the next month, we'll be offering a portion of our servers for free hosting to open source developers and programmers, who need space for their work. PHP and Mysql will be part of it.
