Well, as a larger host bandwidth costs about 2.50 a gig, down to about 2 bucks. I can't see where you would get $5 as being super high. The host is getting extra wear and tear on the server from busy sites, and needs that extra amount for parts to buy later.
As a host, I can say a "rape" plan would cost 5 buck a meg after teh first 500 megs. Yes, I have seen that and worse. But 5 bucks a gig is not too much.

What your looking for is fine, but no interaction with your own customers makes you NOT a reseller. It is referring. You know,,, sales commissions....
