are there any good data centers in California that do Dedicated Servers?

I'm looking for a place for some game servers on the west coast. So ping is very important. Recommendations on this please.

i heard that www.calpop.com is alright. Ive never delt with them before, but perhaps someone else has.

There are tons of datacenters in CA. Calpop does a lot of Game servers, they are located in downtown LA. There are many options ranging from southern cal: san diego to LA and nothern cal: san jose, PAIX, san fran...

Where are you located? And then I can recommend some reliable companies...

I'm in San Diego Personally. I would prefer San Diego to L.A. Is fine for me. Reliability and Customer service are probably the highest up there in my prioity list along with the Ping of course. but the ping isn't jsut for me but everyone in the west part of US. I already have servers in texas and NJ so central and east is covered thats why I am starting to look west coast. If anyone knows from personal experiance on who they like or dislike.

I have heard that Calpop has large spikes once in a while, not very promising for gameserver.

But... if you're going for budget, choices are limited.

never said anything about budget =) prioities are Reliability, Customer Service, and Pings. (for the west coast people)

Around LA, you could try NRsoftware.

Ethr.net (Mfjp's company, who just posted above) operates from the west coast. I do not have any experience with those guys but I remember quite a few good reviews about them on WHT.

He is also a well respected member on WHT and looks very knowledgeable and professional.
