Ok today seemed like a good day to post this since I have some domains that need to be renewed at registerfly.

For those that are customers of registerfly, aren't you tired of seeing that damn paid parking advertisement page still up, with various launch dates throughout the months, with promises of revenue that will never come, while registerfly quietly pulls revenue from paid parking with its customers domains without permission.

Those that want to confirm this can register a new domain at registerfly and check on it sometime later to see it attached to some affiliate page. Where is that revenue going? Not to its customers because thats right! The paid domain parking services haven't launched yet and will launch very soon! You have to change it manually to convert it to a "regular" unpaid parking page. Let's see how far back this goes.

As of today 11/01/04 having a little fun.

Besides the "hey pick a new registrar" answer. Let's be constuctive. Anybody have any good suggestions on this? At the very least i think they need to take down the advertisement and to stop making excuses while making money off domain owners without permission.

I have this idea that this tactic may be part of theyre business model and how they are able to offer low price domains and services. What do the pros here think?

Please excuse the links. Damn 5 post url rule.

This is very common, enom, dotster, directnic do the same thing. In fact when your name expires enom redirects all traffic to a PPC page they make revenue on.

Do you thinks its easy to manage 1000s of things? Regfly offers 100s of features and sometimes I dont understand - "what do they get in return???" after providing 100s of feature for just 9.99 $

CSDesk,

You should consider that the most users do not use 100 features for the domain name. Lots of users, just register their domain names and change their Contact Information and DNS Settings.

So what Registerfly does is Marketing.

Kind Regards,

Mike

Haha dude...
That is in fact not so far-fetched. There're so many Indians (not-so-native-Americans) here in Jersey, sometimes it feels like I'm in a wrong country.

This is very funny. Really. And it's coming from someone whos supposed to be a "all kinds of" customer support provider. Maybe 24x7x365=burned out + bitterness
