Sorry about the newbie question, but...

Ok, so I've set up an account with Gearhost, registered a domain name and now it's time to upload - this is where I'm stuck.

I'm using FrontPage 2000 which under File menu / Publish Web has just the option to "specify location to publish web to" "http://".
Whereas, in the Gearhost Customer Care page it details that you need to use IP address (e.g. 12.123.123.12), user name & password and directory: /www/ (I don't quite get this either - does it imply www.yourdomainname.com?).

In short, how exactly does a first timer like myself go about uploading content?

Why don't you ask to Gearhost support?

Its been posted time and again this is NOT the place for host support!

If you have not already figured it out; please try any of the two.

http://123.123.123.123

and if that doesn't work try this

http://123.123.123.123/www/

Just note that you have to replace the bogus IP I used with the REAL IP Address that they gave you when you signed up.
