I recently purchased a virtual server from rosehosting.com to learn linux administration after years of coding and programming, but I could use some help.

I don't want to bug their support more than I already am, so can someone point me to a good beginner linux administration web site.

Also, can someone point me to a web site that will help me figure out how to use the FreeVSD control panel.
(It looks simple, but I can't figure out how to create an ftp account that can connect to the ftp and have permission to upload files.)
