View Full Version : Southern California Colocation facilities?

Can anyone recommend any Southern California colo facilities. I need it in SoCal because I need to have access to the boxes.

I haven't checked pricing at AT&T yet but I'm imagining they're pretty expensive. Irvine Verio is out of the question, my current employer has had to many problems. Last I heard Exodus was history so Irvine Exodus is a no go unless someone bought thier datacenter.

Are there any colo directories which would have a list of available providers? Tera-byte looked nice but thier in Texas.

I'm looking for 1/4 rack with a couple hundred gigs of transfer per month. I'd also like the ability to expand in the future should I decide on getting into reselling.

Thanks.

Two quick comments:

Use the 'Search' button, for Pete's sake! The same question was asked a couple days ago!
Because a colo is close to your place doesn't mean you'll have easy access to your servers; it's a matter of security.

Colo.com has an irvine facility.
Epoch Internet(eni.net) has a Costa Mesa and Downtown La Facility.
Oco.net is in anaheim.

If you dont mind being hosted in san diego, drop me a line, I'm putting together a small group of webmasters to split a half or full cab at a central sd noc.

I did. Two threads came up, neither helped.

I understand that. That is why I made the point. I NEED access.

Thanks to those who helped.

I love Pajo.net. Visited their datacenter the other day & was totally impressed. We've been using them for a while.

They're in Los Angeles.
