RE: CyberSource is by far the most reliable gateway system that I've seen to date and it has handled more online transaction volume than any other system. Its primary market used to be Fortune 500 but they have recently launched a small business version of their gateway that is now available through various ISO/MSP's.
Okey here's the skinny,
After hours of exhaustive research, here;s where I am at.
CSI: Card services Intl. Too many complaints about contract terms o this board and other boards. They have deceptive business practices to keep you on. Impossible to cancel down the road. I'm put off by them.
Linkpoint gateway. Looks liek it was developed by Monkeys. Not interested.
I like what I am hearing about cybersource.com and would liek them as my gateway. I need a merchant account now that will consider high risk. What's interesting is our business is tours of las vegas, hoover dam and grand canyon, by bus, helicopter and jeep. Soon to add small fixed wing.
We do not book Hotels or Commercial Air or Cruises.
Smallest ticket we have is $36 biggest one is $419.00 US
Avg sales i venture to guess is 50 a month volume under $5K to $10K
As Id eal with various sales agents, some were gonna list us as a ticket agent, others "ground based operations" etc
As regards to banks that work with cybersource:
The select financial institutions, processors, and ISOs noted below are known to be familiar with Internet commerce and can expedite your merchant bank account setup.
• Bank of America
• Chase Merchant Services
• Citibank <---turned us down
• First of Omaha Merchant Processing
• Fleet / Bank Boston
• Heartland
• Humboldt Bank
• Imperial
• Mellon Bank
• Paymentech
• Sanwa Bank
• Silicon Valley Bank
• Total Merchant Services
• Unified Merchant Services
• US Bank
• Wachovia Merchant Services
• Wells Fargo Bank <- does not like travel.
Can anyone recommend out of these banks which one would like us (high risk) I've heard Chase, and Humboldt would consider us ... cdgcommerce and Corey, you guys have been great!
suggestions.
