We're looking for a good host for a high traffic forum. Can anyone recommend some good options? I don't have any solid numbers as far as space or bandwidth. I guess we get about 1500 posts a day. Sorry if there was already a similar thread. I didn't see anything that answered my question.

Wow, 1500 posts a day. Sure sounds like you will need a dedicated.

checkout Rackspace (www.rackspace.com) they are always good for managed dedicated servers. They also have some pretty good bandwidth prices.

We currently have a forum, with gearhost, seems to be suffering a lot of timeout errors. Its a Snitz forum (asp) on windows2k.


However, we have been moved to a new server which should resolve all problems, as there seems to have been problems on the current one.

I will update any changes.

I don't know the how good about their uptime, but the speed of the forum(lawnsite) seems to be the fastest.
