I would personally, not go with them... But you have to take your choice.

The Whois information seems fake plus they use ENOM's DNS Servers, aka they don't have their own

You need a server in Europe I assume?

Hmm, I'm not sure who to recommend you to. Maybe you try SolidRack, I think they have a small dc somewhere in europe.

Easydedicated is a Dutch company that's trying to compete with the American market, but they're hosting in the Netherlands. I have worked with them for about 6 months, and I really don't have anything good to say about them.

- Their support is lacking; they often don't reply to tickets at all or the answer is not helpful at all. It also takes (nearly always) over 24 hours for them to answer your support request, and in weekends they don't reply at all, not even to emergency requests. I have come to find out that they respond almost instantly to sales enquiries, that probably shows what kind of people these are.

- They don't live up to any guarantees/promises they make. For instance, a few months back there would be some network maintenance which would last 5-30 minutes. In total the network has been down (partially) for over 48 hours. In the meanwhile I could reach their support (which was slow as usual) and all they kept on telling us was "we're working on it".

- Their administration is a mess. These days they're still sending me invoices while we cancelled our servers long ago.

- Their network is very good - probably because they don't manage it themselves. Nevertheless, once you ask them to change anything on it, it's quite certain they'll mess up, no matter what you ask.

- Their techs do not have any proper knowledge of the things they should have knowledge of. I've been talking on the phone to a Level 3 tech (or well, that's what they called him), and I had to explain to him what a Kernel is, so he could replace the default kernel for me.

Francisco, thank you for recommending us, I appreciate that. I have to say though, we do not own a datacenter in Europe. Our company is indeed Dutch, however over 99% of our services are located in the USA (in Atlanta, to be exact).

We do have our own servers in the Netherlands too, in our own racks, but we don't own the datacenter. To be honest, we are just starting out in the Dutch market. We have opened our doors in the Netherlands on the 1st of July, 2004.

I may reveal that we do have plans to start our own datacenter in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, which will be due late 2005. Nevertheless, this depends on our partners. Right now, we are colocating our servers in our own racks.

Please note that all services that are currently listed on www.solidrack.com are not related to our Dutch division.

Navigator,

We do actually already have our services available in the Netherlands, however just not in our own datacenter yet. We do have our own racks available however, so we can accomate any given number of clients without any problems.

Easydedicated has a lot of bad reviews in the dutch version of webhostingtalk (www.webhostingtalk.nl). Lot's of downtimes and slow support.

I don't think you know anything about our prices in the Netherlands, I already said this in my previous post:

The prices there are ONLY for our American department. I'm not sure what you consider high prices, but those prices are fairly low.

I may actually reveal that our prices in the Netherlands are much higher than what's listed on our website. If you're only willing to pay as much as EasyDedicated.com charges - I'd say go for it, you won't find anything cheaper. You'll have to keep in mind that you get what you pay for though, you pay a bit, you get a bit in return.
