I am mostly a network guy but trying to learn design for fun. Fed up of Front page etc, want to do a real design for eg photoshop, slicing the image coding etc. Any good resource available to guide a beginner?

Photoshop if you're really gonna give it your all and produce some really slick layout like at shiver7.com or something. If you're just gonna do gradients, buttons, and icons etc, i'd say PSP. |
