Anyone feel'em? They hit right during one of the scenes of "Rose Red" where the spirits were shaking things up. I must say, adds a bit more life to the movie and outdoes the surround sound equipment. :D

Was in SimiV though I guess I either haven't lived here long enough to know where that is or am just ignorant of most of CA's areas (big state, I hope I have a bit of an excuse). Didn't feel it.

Simi Valley is on the 23 (merges with the 101 N) and the 118 ("Ronald Reagan Freeway").
I live quite close and, being in a canyon, the back of my house is on pillars, so we were nicely shaked.

But really, this one wasn't a big deal.

Nope wasn't big at all. a 4.2 or something like that, tops. You get used to the things, but it was rather fun during the movie. ;D

Twas about 8 miles from Simi Valley

Sorry to stray from the topic at hand, but I must laught for a moment at JustinK and xtstrike's sig's. I can't decide who's is better, maybe I should start a poll for most creative sig. There's another good one floating out there, "Bush to Osama: All your base are belong to us" something like that, I forget who's it is though.

Again sorry from straying, I felt the need to add my 2 bob's I mean cents!

I just cant even imagine being in the middle of an earth quake, being in the UK its not something that happens, much like volcanos erupting etc...

I couldnt even begin to imagine what I would feel if it happened. Can anyone explain?

---

Yeah, quite liked the sig, i heared it somewhere before and thought it was appropriate to most end users i have to deal with! :D

I've only felt one *very* small one since I've moved out here. It is often a wave that travels, and this one felt like a varmit (like a gopher) was zooming under my feet, under my apt. Closer to the epicenter, a bit more like up and back swaying (rather than violent shaking, though a bit of that as well).

I've been through quite a few. The northridge one was the worst and the longest I've been through. As chicken said it's basically just swaying. Imagine being on a rug that's on a smooth flat surface and someone's dragging it back and forth while you're on it. I've never been really near the epicenter though so the quakes don't really affect me any. You can tell when you wait until a show's commercial to flip to a news channel real quick just to see the size and then flip back so you don't miss any of the show. :D
