I am looking to move on to a VPS and would prefer switching to a UK based server because of Google. I know of plenty recommendations for US VPS offers but none for the UK. I'm looking for something with the price/reputation of ServInt, i.e. reasonably priced but still good support.
Any discussion of UK pricing as compared to US is not necessary :)

I've recently started to use Exonetric. These are unmanaged FreeBSD jails, ideal for seasoned sysadmins who aren't afraid of the command line. The price is reasonable in my opinion (£12.50 + VAT). As a longtime Linux user I have had no problems switching to BSD.
It's a small operation; all my queries have been answered very promptly by the proprietor.

www.catalyst2.com
We've used catalyst2 for a variety of services over the past while, including colocation and ip transit and they've always been a pleasure to deal with. The guys know their stuff inside out and their VPS machines are very well specced.
Have a read about them on the website then give them a shout to see what they can do for you, I'm sure they'll be glad to help out.
Regards,
Kris
Although I have not used them personally I know someone who recommends Bytemark Hosting (http://www.bytemark.co.uk/index.html) . They do uml based vps hosting are based in Telehouse.
