MarcD 01-29-2002, 12:13 AM the full amount :D :D :D no really its a pretty broad topic depends on a lot of things experience knowledge what it entails html 15-20 an hour html n graphics 15-25 an hour scripting 30-75 an hour it all depends on your experience and different factors just dont sell yourself short ginakra 01-29-2002, 12:22 AM I know many graphics and html people who make more than $25 an hour :D Depends on how good they are at it. Relyc 01-29-2002, 01:48 AM We (at www.nine-one.net) don't charge by hour, and personally I don't think it's a very good system. We simply get some example sites from the client (site they like, sites they want theirs to have a similar feel of..etc, so we know what to go for), we look at what is involved in making the site, including graphics, any coding (PHP and such) involved, how many pages; original content (assuming it's not just a template). Then we make a decision based on that. For templates it all really depends, we make templates for relatively low, and some for quite high (I won't post any prices on the forums though). It really comes down to two things: 1. Who the designer(s) is/are (What they can do) 2. What needs to be done If you ask pixelbrick to make you a site like hostrockets, their price will be very different from your nephews :) |
