Hi,

we recently had to do a full O/S restore in our Raq3.

How do we restore the old SSL certificate to the system?

If it's just copying the files in home/sites/home/certs, please tell me which should be the permissions/ownerships.

I don't feel like buying an SSL cert. again. :bawling:

Thank you very much,
Daniel

Did you get a reply to this?

Is it as simple as copying the cert directory?

No, I got no reply to this. But the fact is I've lost the certificate, and at that time Thawte refused to reissue a certificate (I believe they have changed their policy now).

You should just have to copy the certs folder over and set the ownership to root. Permissions I don't think matter, I'm not too sure though. This is all I did when I moved a site to another RAQ4. I believe as long as the primary domain name for that virtual server, and the OS are the same the cert should work. Remember after copying in the files you need to reboot apache. Let me know if you had any luck with that.
