Ok, I've got a freebsd box with whm/cpanel and it's time to do a buildworld/installworld. I'm wondering what you all do when doing an installworld, as by default, it upgrades important things like sendmail binaries which is a bad idea on a cpanel box. I'm sure there are other things, but havn't even started looking yet.

So who here has a freebsd cpanel box and does an installworld regularly?

Need some ideas.

Don't do it. Cpanel doesn not play well.
I have installed Cpanel on FREEBSD. The first experience didn't go well do to the fact that the size of /var wasn't adequate.

I would suggest posting on the cpanel forums.

I've done it many times with no issues. :)

yes and me i have make upgrades in freebsd servers with cpanel directadmin and plesk without any problem.
Just make sure how can do this and also take care who files is replaced with mergemaster.
