hi,
Have anyone used tucows Blogware? ( www.blogware.com )
How does it compare in features to these free stuffs:
b2 - http://www.cafelog.com/
pMachine - http://www.pmachine.com/
b2evolution - http://www.b2evolution.net/
Nucleus - http://www.nucleuscms.org/
Wordpress - http://www.wordpress.org/
Main reason for asking is if blogs are available for free, why would a client pay for tucows service (yes i know hosting is included for tucows :) ) but you can also find free hosted blogs...
Thanks for your comments :)

I like Wordpress since it is actively developed, popular, and feature robust.

Thanks Sloop for your comment.
When comparing with Blogware features: http://demo.blogharbor.com/Features
i find follwing features Blogware has extra (am i right?)
- Mobile Blogging
- Photo Albums
- RSS
- Polls & Survey
- Slideshow
- WebStats
- FTP access
- Search engine built-in
Any comments from the users, how important(or popular among users) are all these features?
Comments from other blog program users also welcome :)
I'm pretty sure all those other blogs have RSS too, any decent blog software should have it.
FTP access is included with any hosting account.
But the feature list for BlogWare looks good. Guess people pay for it because it makes it easy to run a decent blog. The documentation looks very good too, better than what I would expect from an open source prioject.
Isn't most free blog hosting ad supported?

You should have a look over at www.opensourcecms.com for reviews of blogging software. I use Wordpress myself.

I have used pMachine with a few clients in the past and I find that it works best if you have an active community site...
I've used them all, and I by far like wordpress the best. So do my clients, I think they find it the easiest to administrate a bit more complex features, while still having simplicity.

I have used nearly ALL of the popular blog systems.
And finally I found pLog and ExpressionEngine (the inproved version of pMachine) are the best. :D
Cheers.
