Is it possible to make chmod (or whatever it's called in FTP) enabled for FTP users. So permissions can be changed without having logging in to the shell.

Your Raq should already be set up for this.

All they need to do is FTP their account.

With WS_FTP, right click on the file or
directory and goto CHMod.

I know how to do it in the client ;)
It says "CHMOD not allowed" (even loggin using 'admin')

I use cpanel x and i don't see anywhere in cpanel to modify permissions except for what directory they root access. One of my admins made a script, uploaded it into their specified directory and executed it!!! This gave him access to everything!!! How do i stop this???

if it says chmodd not allowed then your host has disabled this. You probably have a free host or cheap host. No offense. If you want better hosting --- www .paradise-hosting.c o m

Are you running dedicated (as u seem to place it in dedicated forum)? If so then consider reading up your ftpd software docs. Also you might want to tweak Umask to something else so they don't have to use chmod.
