Does anyone have a tracking method to see who is running an instance of dllhost.exe ?

Its next to impossible / takes ages to work it out manually so it would be much easier to have something that said thisdomain.com is using this instance of dllhost.exe !

you can use a program called "Hyena" on windows machine to find out who has a particular file open.

or if its a file being used over a share you san use server manager to find out who has it open.

and ive just been informed by a colleague that you can use : Start> Run> "winfile" (old windows file manager)

find the file you want to check who has it open, choose File> Properties and click on thev "Open By" button

tells you who has it open.
