~ weeping uncontrollably ~

Oh, the tradgedy of it... fat dead birds by the millions, everywhere, tortured in flaming ovens, then viciously torn apart and -- eaten!

Is this any way to treat innocent barnyard fowl, Chicken?

On the other hand, them giblets was delicious this year...

I likewise saved a bird.

You know, just one drumstick and some breast meat was enough for me.

True, the bird looks funny hopping around on one leg, now; but hey, no sense killing it sooner than you have to...

I actually saved a piece, since I wouldn't eat the whole bird by myself... well... hmm... now it sounds like I didn't save it, since it was cooked, anyways. :(

You have seen the headless chicken thing on the net, yes etLux? Right up your alley... :) I'd have to dig for the link...

Geez... there I was, making a legitimate effort to extend the life of a hapless animal -- and now people go poking fun. Harumph.

Ahhh yes, I neglected to check my 'chicken' favorites folder. Yes I have a 'chicken' folder, doesn't everyone? No? Hmmm.

I did, but the grease from the chicken tended to stain the Manilla stock of the folders -- and then get all over everything else in my file cabinets.

I do, however, still retain folders for cheeses, certain soups, junk foods, and, of course, various caffeine products.

This orderly approach makes the preparation of shopping lists much easier, and I do recommend it.

I'm currently having refrigeration units installed on our filing cabinets, so I can extend the method to frozen foods...
