What is the best and cheapest place to get promo items such as pens, shirts, hats, mugs, etc?

Thanks in advanced.

Best AND cheapest? That's certainly a rare combination.

Okay, so maybe I should just say cheapest.

...since it's hard to find either good OR cheap. Most places sell expensive crap.

A word of advice.
Think of these items as "thank you" items not sales generators (unless you just need some type give-away item for a trade show or similar...still just a thank you.
Also useful if you want all your staff to have matching items.

Where these items work best for generating sales if for companies whose service is selected on an on-going basis (pizza delivery for simple example) and customers want a quick way to remember the phone number.

Perhaps that was the track you were already on, but for businesses like hosting where someone is not likely to look to a pen or mug when making a decision it's not a sales tool.

Contact this guy: gurhy@kings-lynn.net by email. I've done business with him before, he does this sort of thing. I believe he can do all that you mentioned. (This is not a self advertisement.)

Dont use cheap stuff.

Promo items represent your company and product. Its better to give out 100 quality items that will be used/looked after than 1000 ****** ones that people look at as junk.

Branders.com has "Attitude 101" by John C Maxwell for imprint too! It's a really nice book ... coincidently I was given a copy of it ... reading it now. Really good read! ;)

ePromos.com got a pretty decent selection of rather affordable little gifts you can use.
