Hello, if the topic does not suit here, please move..

I have have a domain, and two resellers account (in different servers). In the first account, I created some accounts using subdomain.domain.com .. so that they can have their own cpanel.

Now, I want to move my domain (main domain) to my other reseller account. Is it possible?

If it is possible: I register my domain at Directi. And what kind of service I should have for my domain? Managed DNS Service, or... ?

Thank you in advance.

Thomas

Well, let's see:

If you are using whm/cpanel, and you have your domain registered at Directi pointing to your current reseller account name servers.

One possible solution could be:
1. Point your domain to the new reseller account name servers (this is in Directi).

2. On your new account's WHM, go to the "Edit a DNS Zone" and choose your domain to edit.

3. In the "Add new entries..." section, add the desired subdomains and choose the "A" record type and point them to your current IP.

I hope this helps... or at least i hope you could understand what i meant

This is what I understand:

1. Create an account in 1st reseller, point the domain there (via Domain Control panel - Directi).

2. In the 1st reseller account, adding A Record with with the 2nd reseller IP account.

3. Add an A record in domain managar, something like: subdomain.domain.com ... pointed to 2nd reseller account IP.

Like that?

Let's do it this way:

I will name "Main Account" where you currently have your main domain, and will name "Secondary Account" where you want to move the main domain.

1. Create an account (in WHM) with your main domain in the "Secondary Account" (if you don't have it yet).

2. On Domain Control panel - Directi, change your name servers to those of your "Secondary Account".

3. On your "Secondary Account's" WHM, so to the "Edit a DNS Zone" option and choose your domain to edit.

4. In the "Add new entries..." section, add the desired subdomains and choose the "A" record type and point them to your "Main Account's" IP address.

5. Next, on your "Main Account's" WHM, edit your domain DNS zone and change the NSs records to your "Secondary Account" name servers.
