Greetings all. I suspect my hosting needs have been discussed in numerous occasions. I have spent countless hours searching through this board and a few other boards, and I also visited many web hosting sites, but I just don't see a service out there that is idiot friendly and cheap. (I used to be somewhat knowledgeable in the web hosting aspects, but I haven't been keeping pace for a few years.)

Below is a brief outline of my requirements:

- 5MB disk space

- low traffic

- FTP account

- 25 domains (.com, .org, .net, .ca, and .org.uk; presently most are parked)

- assistance in changing dns profiles would be nice, or at least there is a control panel that allows me to easily make the changes

- e-mail account for at least one domain (more would be nice but not necessary), or the ability to set up e-mail accounts via third parties, such as everyone.net.

Currently, I am using both paid and free hosting services, but it would be nice to centralize everything to one host.
In terms of price and features, I like what csoft.net has to offer, but I don't think their packages have a control panel function.

Can anyone direct me to a reputable inexpensive host that provides me with what I require? Is it possible to get what I need without having to spend lots of money, particular on the domain transfer fees? (My web activity is purely for educational and career promotional purposes. Hence, the low traffic and non-listing in search engines.)

Thank you for reading this post and for your inputs.

So basically you want a very small hosting account that can have 24 other domains pointed to the main account (or maybe even redirected to sub folders within the account)?

DNS profiles? Now this sounds more like a registrar thing, or a service that offers DNS. Something along the lines of http://mydomain.com or http://centralinfo.net ?

See above re: mydomain/central info. Although a host could do this, for such a tiny account, you're going to be driving them insane.

I just want to be sure all of the above is correct...

Neil,
Thank you for posting your query. Yes, it is much better to move all domains to one centralized host as it can get very confusing.
