Hi,
Im looking for the following things, and I know im asking a lot but point me in the right direction. After my attempt at collocation went bad, I am now looking for the following.
1. Ability to host multiple sites (around 10)
2. A few of these sites will require the use of SQL Server all of the sites will be using the same DB.
3. A few of these sites will require lots of BW (about 30-50 total)
Im looking for the lowest cost option that is still reliable.
First are there any services out there that can fit these requirements easily, and two how much does it cost?
Thanks again.
Ouch. The SQL Server will usually be the killer, because of the costs of putting it on its own dedicated server as well as the license fees. You would have to be looking at around $35-50/month at the very least.... I'll look around.

Maybe http://www.innerHost.com offers this?

I do this by using the MyDomain service to point to the IP address of my shared space on a Win2k server. I then have a small script in the header of my index.asp to check the host asked for, then redirect for a sub directory of my main site.
For example, my main site is http://www.domain1.com, which doesn't redirect. However, all other domains get redirected eg: http://www.domain2.com gets a response.redirect "http://www.domain2.com/d2", so it still looks like you are one the same site.
Granted, all the sites are mine, so it is not an issue in terms of selling to customers.
Alternatively, I've noticed CrystalTech allow you to have multiple domains pointed to the same account.
I'd check with, either, http://www.webexpose.net/ or http://www.windowswebhost.com/
I've heard good about both of them, although i've never used them.

I am using webexpose.net and they allow to add domains or sub domains @ $ 2.5.
They had the best support. Their server was down for a week. But sites were working and now they have decided to review their plans. They will be bakc on 1st december

Why would you even recommend a company if their servers were down for a week, if their fixing their problems fine, but I dont think its right to recommend a company that you know has problems.
On the other hand I too have heard good things about windowswebhost
Some aren't as demanding as others, Charles....

They reply within 1 hour...
Thier server was down for first time....
I think they are the best
They have got a CP which is easy and the most friendly arround
They also some times help you to install cgi scripts etc...
They had problem because of some Dll's which some of their clients registered and I still think they are the best. Now they are coming up with new plans on December 1st but current clients sites are working fine...

Webexpose.net's site currently consists of a single page announcing new services in a week! Not good from my view...
