Well, there are alternative ways of getting a package onto the box, such as FTPing (either normal FTP or 'get' via command line). This would be placed in a 'loaded' folder, *if* a RaQ2 is like RaQ3/4, which is the only thing I've used. I don't know why it wouldn't accept the package in the first place however.

Thanks to Chicken for answering my question!

I try to extract file : RaQ2-All-CMU-2.27.pkg ,

I found now :
perl-Compress-Zlib-1.11-1.mipse (28 kb)
perl-MIME-Base64-2.11-1.mips.rp (16 kb)
perl-XML-Parser-2.29-2.mips.rpm (248 kb)
RaQ2-cmu-2.27-0.noarch.rpm (68 kb)

I will try with Telnet/FTP command (I am not familiar with Telnet command, but I will carefully)

Can you help me, which files (from 4 files) I must install?

And can you give me step by step where on my server I must locate (install) this files (telnet command!)

Thank you for helping me

First of all, let me start by saying I usually have no idea what I am talking about.

But...

Before you start making things complicated for yourself you might want to check a few things. I don't know exactly what that error msg means but there is definatly a reason for it. And unless there is something wrong with the .pkg itself, doing it manually won't solve that problem.

As far as I can see the message "no upgrade pckg found" can mean 2 things.

1. You didn't specify the path correctly and the .pkg could not be found. Check and double check. If the url is correct, try to download the pkg first to your pc and then install it from "upload" rather then "url" (assuming the raq2 works the same as the raq4 as far as installing .pgs is concerned)

2. Read the documentation. Is a previous upgrade of some sort of software required? Is another installation of another .pkg first required and is that the reason that the installation of this .pkg fails because the "upgrade package" has not been installed yet?

Check those two points first before you try a manual install.

I can not install .pkg in my Raq2 server (RaQ2-All-CMU-2.27.pkg ), I don't know why.

So I want install it via RPM files
I see 4 files from RaQ2-All-CMU-2.27.pkg :
perl-Compress-Zlib-1.11-1.mipse (28 kb)
perl-MIME-Base64-2.11-1.mips.rp (16 kb)
perl-XML-Parser-2.29-2.mips.rpm (248 kb)
RaQ2-cmu-2.27-0.noarch.rpm (68 kb)

How about Telnet command to install .RPM files? Please..
Where directory must I install this files?

Thanks
