I am looking for a good download script for a project I am working on.

Would need the following features:

* Ability to list top downloads.

* Ability to search for downloads by name.

* Ability to search for downloads by category.

* Redirection to another page while you wait for download to start.

* Admin side where you can add new downloads, descriptions, etc....

* Download Tracking (How many times this file has been downloaded)

* Customisable template system (want to make it fit with the current site design and would also be nice to have plenty of room for advertising (adsense, banners, sponsored links, etc....)

* Possibly have screen shots available of software, etc... available on each product.

That's it in a nutshell, any other useful suggestions you can think of add them in.

I am not opposed to a custom solution but if someone already built one and has it for sale why spend the time doing it again.

have you checked hotscripts.com? Should be plenty there.

I'm not sure if all the features you list are supported, but one of the better ones I've seen is paFileDb. You can find it on hotscripts.com.
