$25 for chargebacks !!!

I am setting up a merchant account through my bank. They are charging $25 per chargeback. Does it sound excessive??? It does to me.

It depends. Some companies charges $15, some charge as much as $50. Also look to see how much the retrieval request. These are usually sent out before the chargeback. Some companies do not charge for these and some can charge near $15. So this could really increase your charges if a lot of clients are requesting their money back thru Visa / MasterCard

Why its always a good idea to use some sort of fraud prevention, fruadgate, varilogix etc etc etc etc
