I have a general question. How long do shared hosting customers usually stay in terms of months?

I stayed on Site5's WebExec plan for about 8 months...before upgrading to a dedicated server :)

I went straight to a dedicated box because i knew that shared accounts are not very good and mainly for people looking for a quick fix with low maintenance, imho

Even going for a dedicated box it took me 3 attempts to get the right provider, admittedly, my first two choices were not wise decisions at the time, im happy to say the decisions were not made by me. :D

But going with Weinbar in the end ive been happy 98% of the time, couple of glitches but some problms are to be expected in the long run.

10 months + for the most part.

We've been pretty luck and have a stable customer base. Most are very good (compared to some of the stories you see on this board from time to time). Some of them, I'd even call friends now.
