View Full Version : Automatic Account Creation?

With CPanel, apart from using WHM Auto Pilot. Would there be any way of making it so when my customers registered an account would automatically be created for them? Depending on what they put in the registration form.

Sorry guys, I'm new. I'm not sure if this should be here.

Hello,
My suggestion is, try not to depend everything to be fully automated. Make sure you review each order carefully to avoid getting fraud order.

All the best.

It is free for now, and even in the next version which will be commercial, a licence for up to 10 clients is free, and subsequent licences depend on the number of clients you want to support.

There is a module you can add in to automate adding the account in WHM. It takes a while to get everything set up but its definitely worth the effort if you can't afford a commercial solution.
I use it and its fantastic :)

phpCOIN is not a server automation tool. There are several add-ons to help with serever-automation, such as WHM and Plesk, but phpCOIN is basically a cklient-management and billing tool.

thats what the Admin in phpcoin forum told me.... just like i said try using TinyTool.. its like whmAP

I would highly recommend re-considering the automatic account creation tool. It's a haven for fraudster, spammers ... etc.

Take offline bank transfer & cheque as your payment method.

As I said earlier, if you are going to rely 100% on things to be done automated online, make sure you review each order carefully.

Thanks.

I don't really see how automated signups could diminish the fraud threat.

We currently are doing instant account activation and review each account for fraud post-activation.

How are you checking for fraud?

IP Location Trace? Area Code Look up? Postal Code Lookup? Phoning to confirm orders?

Our merchant credit card processing detect to us.
When the cards suspect fraud, we do ask them fax photo copy of their driving license, Nasiaonal ID or cards copy, but unfortunately nobody reply. Some users also provide invalid phone number. :(

Unless you're an experienced programmer, I'd recommend biting the bullet and paying for a script like WHMAP, Lpanel, or Modernbill. You need a reliable system with programmers who can update the software when needed. cPanel is constantly evolving, and as it does, programmers need to adapt their scripts, API, etc.
