When I try to modify srm.conf I get an error when I try to save changes, "You have not permission to write to file" or something like that.

Anyway, how do I 'get' permission ? I am logged in as root but to no avail ? Thanks in advance.

You say you are logged in as root, but I guess you mean admin. TYou need to swicth to superuser

After that you should be able to edit it

Well, I thought I was logged in as su! Tried again and everything worked.
