My name is Daniel, one of Patiek's colleagues.

With regards to MSSQL, we currently operate a 1 database per domain policy. We will set up one MSSQL database for every domain you host with us, and provide access to manage this database via a set of web based tools. MSSQL is only available on our Windows server (naturally). MySQL on the other hand is only limited by how many databases you can fit into your disk quota, and it is available on both our Windows and Linux servers. MSSQL cannot yet be configured from our control panel, so at the moment you must request databases via a trouble ticket. MySQL is configurable by both our Plesk and cPanel control panels.

Component wise, we only include the standard ASP components that come with a default build of IIS6 on Windows 2003. We do this for security and performance reasons, but will be happy to install any components which we are lacking, provided they do not have a negative influence in any way on the server, they will not degrade the performance, and they are secure. These installations must be requested by trouble ticket - we do not allow clients to install the components themselves. Of note on our Windows 2003 Servers is that both CDOSYS and CDONTS are available for sending mail from ASP scripts. We installed CDONTS for compatability with scripts that were designed for use on Windows 2000 or NT4 servers where CDONTS was part of the default ASP installation.
