Hello,
I'd really appreciate any help in finding out where and how to sell a web hosting business. We are looking to sell somewhere to fetch about £30,000(business is worth that the only reason im throwing figures in is so I get the right advice on where is best to sell!) and not sure where to advertise? Can anyone help or give some advice?

Thanks

www.bizbuysell.com/sell/ - one of the best resources around.
www.businessbroker.net - also good ones.
You can use also UK service - www.churchfield.co.uk

If you post a topic on the forums around here that you have a hosting business up for sale you'll get more offers then you can handle.

Be ready for a ton of questions about profit and number of customers.

Do you know if there a minimum number of posts for selling on the forums?

Also has anyone tried the sites listed by tmonster? Any feedback on them?

Thanks

I've tried www.bizbuysell.com/sell/. I got lots of requests. They claim that site gets 400,000 visitors searches each month. Anyway you can start from posting your "For Sale" Ad in this forum and if you will be not satisfied, use BizBuySell.

You will need 10 posts to create a thread in the for sale forums. I highly suggest that first. It is free, and you get plenty of offers.

Yeh I would advise posting here. People here ask lots of questions though so make sure you have everything ready.

Monthly info such as packages etc.

You should aim for 10-12 months worth of income. It varies and depends on how many clients you have and whether they pay monthly or yearly...
