solyalex 10-14-2004, 07:22 PM i recvieve this from Bank of Alabama few minutes agooo

Under pressure from US government banking authorities, the Bank of Alabama has chosen to discontinue the InterCash Pay Card program. By now, you may have received an Email from the Bank of Alabama explaining your options. We regret the inconvenience this may cause you.

realy i shocked
we have a payment that will be transfered from 2co to our card after 2 days ...
soccer10shop 10-14-2004, 07:33 PM I have more money in there than an incoming payment, because of the ****ing limits that this card has.
ANYWAY, I got really desperated, but now I think this is a SCAM mail. See the links that show the "alternatives", they have nothing to do with Intercash. The services and cards shown there do not even appear in google. The PDF has a horrible design. And the mail says "BY NOW YOU MAY HAVE RECEIVED A MAIL FROM BANK OF ALABAMA" that is, at least in my case, not correct. I tried cashing from my card a few minutes ago and It worked. So if it's true, they didn't do it yet. And if it's not, then you better go NOW to take as much money as soon as you can.
Now i've inspected a bit better the mail:

I suppose this is the answer to calm us down. I HOPE SO AT LEAST!
soccer10shop 10-14-2004, 07:37 PM Can anybody try to call to confirm this?

I would, but I've lost my Talkfree Pin last week after a hard disk crash so, I'm waiting to receive it back and cannot yet call...
solyalex 10-14-2004, 07:45 PM even if this mail is forged .. this mean that they have been hacked ..... from where they got our emails
soccer10shop 10-14-2004, 07:52 PM Hacked is the very last option. Any Intercash worker could have accesed to that list. Any 2checkout worker could also. And I don't know if the mails are not listed as a way to contact the stores that 2checkout promotes on the website.
soccer10shop 10-14-2004, 07:55 PM Also, they can collect mails directly from where we promote our things... I suppose that you have the word 2checkout and your mail somewhere in your website / auctions.
freakysid 10-14-2004, 08:44 PM I did not receive the email from Bank Alabama - but I had trouble with email earlier (spool dir got full). This is what I received from Intercash???

Can someone please post the email from Bank of Alabama?
soccer10shop 10-14-2004, 08:49 PM Read well this thread, NO ONE has received the Bank Of Alabama mail, that was the first thing that made me suspect this was a scam. I can not proof it anyway, but I'm crossing fingers for it. The only mail that came was from InterCash.
Nilomedia 10-14-2004, 10:19 PM From: support@intercash.com (InterCash)
doesn't actually prove that it was hacked or sent from real Intercash. It's obviously a spammed email.
Received: from web.anonwebhost.com (unknown [69.72.179.2])
It's not the IP of the current www.intercash.com website.
calm down.
soccer10shop 10-14-2004, 10:30 PM The only thing that scares me, is that the link that takes you to purchase one of the cards, is on www.primerchants.com, that """"SEEMS"""" to be a well working site, at least, it's shown on Google and that it's not flagged when you search for it + fraud, scam, etc...
Maybe theyre offering subdomains for this scammers to charge the fees for this cards only, but they don't have anything to be with them? I mean because of this:
http://webservices.primerchants.com/ECShopNet/Default.aspx?MerchantID=10028
Nilomedia 10-14-2004, 10:38 PM Why this scares you?
Just what I see, a scam e-mail, that's spammed to email list database, regardless of any links they included to that e-mail. It just can't be from the real InterCash website.
soccer10shop 10-14-2004, 10:57 PM The fact that what that mail would mean to me, may be the most important thing. Only considering that option kept me in desperation for a while. You should have saw me running to the ATM to try my card just after reading it :)
I also believe that, since Intercash has a crappy website, they give me the idea of a company made by people who know almost nothing of computers. So I keep a 0,1% chance of they, using an anonimous webhost server to send the e-mail, instead of having theyre own...
freakysid 10-15-2004, 01:04 AM OK - I've had the time now to do some digging. The IP block owner just happens to be my main dedicated server provider - so I have shot them off an email.
Taliban 10-15-2004, 02:02 AM solyalex
please increase the limit of your money in 2co account . So that your money will not go to intercash and later u can correct your banking details. if u will not do this , may be you will suffer in a problem.
soccer10shop 10-15-2004, 04:51 AM Just came from the ATM machine to take today's amount. The ATM rejected my card. I'm ****ed up. AGAIN. None of you will understand me, but I'm writing this into tears. All my dreams, all my work, was in there. Now who knows how the **** i'm gonna get that. Bank Of Alabama still doesn't show a word on this. They don't have an option to transfer that money to anywhere else even.
I just keep the hope that network was down to make this the most horrible coincidence in my life. There are sometimes when that happens and just waiting a few hours solves the problem. But it's just my last wish.
soccer10shop 10-15-2004, 05:18 AM Update, just came from another system's ATM machine in Argentina and IT WORKED! There are 2 systems here, but both should connnect to Cirrus. I hope now that the first try was an internal problem in the first company's system. I think if they would have disabled, both would have been affected the same way, but I'm still a bit shocked...
amos462001 10-15-2004, 05:22 AM We all know (Ex Paysystems merchants) exactly what you mean, they screwed us up like dishrags. All our dreams are now in Paysystems wallets.
Praying hard that you will be OK,all of you.
soccer10shop 10-15-2004, 05:26 AM Thank you very much, I hope you can get that too.
soccer10shop 10-15-2004, 03:09 PM Now Bank Of Alabama says that IT IS TRUE. I'm out of bussiness now. I had more money in there than in my pockets, and being that the only way I could cash money, they have totally distroyed me. The Bank also says that "BECKY, who is in charge of that, is not today, call on monday" How the hell could a bank have only 1 employee in charge of a full system and the other ones don't know a damn?
universal2001 10-15-2004, 03:40 PM Why not wire the money to your own bank account in your country? 2checkout even sends you checks to cash out. Whats the issue here. Why say "I'm out of business now"?
Zaja-7 10-15-2004, 05:39 PM Just received ticket reply from 2checkout staff: :bawling:
Unfortunately the Bank of Alabama has ceased it's intercash activity. You can contact them at intercash@bankofalabama.com for additional payment options.
Please feel free to reopen this ticket if you need any additional assistance.

Because my money is not on 2checkout, is on Bank Of Alabama. And Bank Of Alabama stated that they will wire the money to the account they have on file... I don't remember adding ANY account on file, in fact because 2checkout never worked fine with international wires, at least for me. All bounced.
soccer10shop 10-16-2004, 01:03 AM My correction, it doesn't say that they will wire the money. It just doesn't say how are they going to send it, but it says "to the account holder adress we have on file"
I'll contact them to see if I can get this to another adress by a secure service like Fedex, DHL or anyother. If they send this by regular mail, it will take weeks and those checks are not secure, somebody cashed one under my name last year and I still don't see a cent from that.
soccer10shop 10-16-2004, 01:29 AM Another question, does anybody knows if, being a huge check, I'm sure that my bank will require me some documentation (ie, invoices, etc) that I don't have, do you think that the account closure could be an exception, and that I could state that it was a personal savings account that got closed, so it's my earned money in there what I'm getting and not the result of bussiness transactions like 2checkout's? Would be nice to hear from somebody that had that issue at the Bancorp.

What I know if that theyre wire payments always give trouble. The best to make it quick would be a check, unless your payment is very very big. Beware that they send checks by the cheapest airmail service. I suggest getting a p.o. box in the USA, there are many systems that offer that for free and then they forward your stuff via Fedex, DHL, etc. Maybe you are still on time since today it's Saturday and payment would be done on Monday surely.

ohh you mean 2cho have problem with wire payment :bawling: I think to setup wire payment because checks payment take 1.5 month to cash
soccer10shop 10-17-2004, 04:54 AM There are some banks that can take them inmediately. Maybe there are not the big banks, but the small ones, the exchange houses, etc. I don't know how are these called in english, but the small banks where you go to change your US$ for Euros, or any other currency. That's what I mean. Hope it helped. Cheers
forumtalk 10-17-2004, 01:09 PM Got mail from 2co but it say update banking details today :( but I can't contact my bank today because of Sunday , I need to get details that they need to setup wire payment :(

Yeah, me too. But I still have the feeling that they do not reply everything they should... I sent mails with several important questions for my case, and some where not replied, even the direct phone number question, that was avoided twice. I'll be happy if they do honour theyre promises anyway.
