View Full Version : Apology to RegisterFly

I posted a thread here saying that on October 11, Registerfly had a free .info offer with no strings attached and would not honor it. That was my memory and I was mad about it. Since then all but one of the responding posters said there was no such offer and and Registerfly says there was no such offer. I still had a strong memory of this in my own mind. I had wanted to gather information about this for a week so Registerfly could be conclusively cleared and vindicated, if that's how it went. However even this seemed to upset some people quite a bit.

I apologize to Registerfly and its fans. I can't find support for what I believed I saw on it's website. I've found a number of people that say it wasn't there. I withdraw my earlier statements. I have asked for the moderators to erase one thread I wrote about this and to close another.

Sorry about your experience, Bluegirl. But at least we can leave
this behind.

In any case, welcome to WHT! Stick around, things are bound to
get pretty exciting here. ;)

It takes a lot of guts to apologize in such a public manner. I applaud you.

To be fair, you don't need to apologize if you have not yet taken the time to verify what you believe to be true. But then don't just trust your memory, esp. when you are older than 12 like I do. LOL!

Although no longer considered young(my oldest is 28) my memory is still pretty good. Once again it takes backbone to apologize.
