Hello,

somebody had some experience with safe_mode of PHP in the resseller accounts of turnkeyresellers.com?

I want to know if itīs set in OFF or ON, or if itīs possible to be set to OFF for certain sites.

Thank.

I have an account with Turnkey Resellers. The server that hosts my sites has safe_mode disabled.

Support is good - the administrator normally answers tickets fairly fast, and I have not had any downtime since I had my account with them. If you read other forums about them, you will see that other people also mention very high uptime. The closest thing I came to downtime, was a period of about 2-5 minutes where a admin script was running (middle of the night), and the server load was a bit high. Everything worked - it was just a bit slow, and it was over before I even realised it.

Thank revve.
I need safe_mode off because I have upload php files which they create others php and later they include themselves among them. And this way php does not have same uid.

Thank for comments.

Yes,

Robert (OWNER) is a very kind hearted person. His servers are very fast and well maintained. I would highly recommend him for all your resellers needs.

Regards,

Please ask them.
I may at least give you an idea of the kind of support you can hope to receive as a customer of theirs.

Hi, safe mode is off on all of turnkey's servers. We do use phsuexec for security reasons.

Mods, this is a direct question about a service of Turnkey Hosting.

IMHO TurnkeyResellers is one of the hosting industry's best kept secrets.

I am not a reseller but I have had a Turnkey Resellers account for the past few months and am so satisfied with the service that I am switching my company's main commercial site (VentureJapan.com) to Turnkey this weekend.

The reasons for the switch are:
1 - Turnkey is stable
2 - Robert is reassuringly conservative and thinks before he acts (whether its adding a new server, migrating accounts to optimize performance or simply upgrading cPanel, Plesk etc.)
3 - similar to -2- Robert does not take unnecessary risks (for example upgrading to the latest greatest version simply for the sake of nominal improvements) if he thinks it might cause unnecessary downtime or service degradation
4 - Robert not only communicates with us but before making decisions that might affect service and uptime or our businesses he takes the unusual step of conferring with us via the forum
5 - Everything that he promised me he would do prior to my signing up he has consistently done
6 - The 1-800 number got answered at 3:00am with no complaint.
7 - Frankly, I do not have one single complaint about the service and if I were going to start a reselling business on a budget I would not trust any other host but Turnkey (not because there are no other good hosts, there are many great hosts, but Turnkey gives me the confidence of being there for my business for the long haul)
