I'm so worried about the trouble ticket system they've got at RackShack!

... sung to the tune of...

Monty Python's "I'm so worried about the baggage retrieval system they've got at Heathrow!"

Seriously, I'm as pleased as can be with the speed and reliability of RS's network, but am I alone in thinking the trouble ticket handling is sometimes a little Pythonesque?

My trouble tickets are only concerned with billing or administrative matters, but two things drive me nuts with their handling methods;

1./ Trouble tickets can receive an almost unrelated reply or miss the entire point of the original concern and are then closed off. Follow up tickets with additional detail receive much the same reply and are simply closed off again.

2./ Once a ticket receives any comment such as "looking further into this one" it seems to be flagged as needing no further action. They then just sit in the system ad infinitum. I currently have an outstanding ticket from July of 2001.

As a side note/competition, can anyone beat July 2001 for an unresolved trouble ticket from RS?

PS. Does "RS" stand for the same thing in USA as it does in AUS?
