We provide "light/low-end" SEO for some of our customers. We make no guarantees, except that their pages will be constructed with the best possible chance for certain keyword phrases. Customers needing greater needs or guarantees we send elsewhere.

We do most of our submissions by hand to 5-6 of the "important" SE's. We use BCentral to report on the KeyWord Density, title length, meta tags. . . It produces some nice reports. Also because it is owned by MS, we generally pay the $30.00 per URL to use their submission service (excluding the important SE's), thinking/hoping that it will help with msn's se.

I'm considering using Web Position Gold for Page analysis and reporting. I'll continue to submit by hand, but like the tools that make sure the alt tags have key words in them and provide SE related analysis.

Any comments on how Web Position Gold compares to BCentral?

Any other tool for SEO reporting/analysis (regarding the page, not submission or placement monitoring) I should consider?

I suggest you to take a look at www.webceo.com. You will get much better reporting and other useful features than Web Position.

You might want to check out Webmaster Guidelines (http://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html) before investing any money into any program:
Don't use unauthorized computer programs to submit pages, check rankings, etc. Such programs consume computing resources and violate our terms of service. Google does not recommend the use of products such as WebPosition Gold™ that send automatic or programmatic queries to Google.

Corey,

Thanks for the tip but I thought I was clear that I was evaluating WPG as an analysis tool, not a submission, rank-checking tool.

Yes - sorry you. You also might check out: http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/faq.html as well. A few people have recommended that to me in the past as well.

I have never used WPG but some people have said it was a good analysis tool. And webceo is also recommended here: http://www.webmaster-toolkit.com/search-engine-position-checker.shtml

Please remember there’s an actually program like Internet Business Promoter that you can use time and time again that’s a 1 time fee, which will be cheaper in the long run if you have the patience to do it yourself :)

We bought WP Platinum do NOT buy this product if you just want it to submit to search engines. It lists 200-300 search engines it will submit to. It infact only submit to 5 or 6 the others listed actually get listed in because your in those 5 or 6. We asked nicely for a refund havent heard yet
