NOC Technician
Are you a geek who likes Good pay and hard work? Looking for your first real tech job? Layered Technologies is hiring 1st level NOC technicians. This position will give you real hands on experience.
This position will process trouble tickets, load operating systems, reboot servers and assist in the installation of equipment in large data-center environment.
Must have expertise in one of the following operating systems and be willing to learn all operating systems: Windows 2000/2003 server, Linux , FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and Unix. Knowledge of the following are a plus: apache, qmail, sendmail, IIS, IMail, SQL, Myself, FTP, SSH, terminal services, VNC, PCAnywhere,DirectAdmin, Plesk, cPanel, Ensim, and other web related applications and/or utilities.
General networking knowledge is needed. This is a great opportunity to progress into NOC engineer. Full or Part Time positions available on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. Salary / Hour range starts at $8 - $12 per hour depending on experience.

Hardware Technician
We are currently seeking skilled hardware technicians. Responsibilities for this position include: building data-center infrastructure, modifying hardware configurations, install and configure Operating Systems, troubleshoot hardware issues. Must be familiar with assembling computers. Must know how to properly handle hardware, Run and terminate cabling. Must have experience with Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, and networking. Experience with Cisco IOS a plus. This is a good opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a fast growing dedicated server provider. Full time positions only. Must be able to work any shift, able to lift 40lbs.
