It's almost amusing to view the monthly invoices TP is billing me every month... It's now the 3rd time that I am asking them to credit me "ghost drives" from already canceled servers or servers which all in a sudden cost $50 more than originally ordered.
Fortunately I received 2 credits so far, still it takes a lot of time to even understand their accounting system... extra drives are sometimes labeled as "TC: add third drive!" or "3rd SCSI HD" or just "73GB" and there is no link visible between servers and upgrades.... because of that they often still bill you for upgrades for already canceled boxes months later - you betta watch out!

I've been with ThePlanet over a year I think.
I've got two accounts, and a total of 12 servers with them.
So far I've never had an accounting problem, and on top of that Sherri has been absolutely fantastic when I did need to talk with accounting.
Maybe you should get in touch with them when you don't have anything wrong, and just work with them to audit your account. That would be the first thing I'd do.
That's what I did, while the price was right each month, the server details weren't so I went through with them having them change my invoice descriptions so I knew what server was what. Nice guys...no problems here.

invoice descriptionsthat might be the real issue: instead of saying "73GB" for a scsi drive they should label it according to a house-wide naming convention such as scsi-73-(servername)

I should also point out that I do agree their accounting system has some lacking areas.
One thing i do not like is that they are very inconsistant actually providing you with the invoices.
I guess I don't see it most times becaues I just go by my credit card bill. But a couple times I've gone through and looked and there's always a 'few' months that there's no invoice showing.

I'd have to say that every time I've dealt with Sherri, it has been a pleasant experience.. Their billing system has boofed up our invoices a few times, but Sherri always took care of it for us...

Every company has their areas of improvement. Nobody, or company, is perfect. Though, I never had any issues with them when I was there.

I have noticed a few invoice errors over the few months I was with them, but overall I loved there service.
