I am hosted with AdultBurst at http://www.adultburst.com and just abit worried because i am new to this board and i have been looking round for anything about them and I have not found anything yet about them. The have been a good host to me with top notch support, Alex is a great bloke. There have been no downtime so far which is great and the service is great. Im just a bit worried because there has been no mention of adultburst in this forum. Thank you.

I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. If you're getting good support and are happy where you are then that's what matters - not that your host is flavor of the month on this board.

Actually it's often the case that no news is good news. If people are having issues with a host that aren't being resolved they post here more often than not.

Maybe their customers fall into a different demographic than the bulk of the people here. I know a few of our own customers do little more than use the net for e-mail and their websites, and have probably never used a discussion forum in their lives.

its difficult to judge good news and bad news on this board.

Bad News: Could be a flame by another host trying to make the host look bad
Good News: Could be the host secretly trying self promotion on the boards.

But as its been mentioned by akashik, no news is usually good news.

Could be the former, since the site in question isn't responding -- at least for me. :D

I have just spoke to the owner on ICQ and he says that the servers are having maintenance for a few hours, he said that he sent an E-mail to every1 asking for objections and no one replied. I am just selling my domain name sky2fly.co.uk ( go to related offers forum to buy it) and i removed evrything including my e-mail accounts so he sent a e-mail to one of those accounts, lol. I got to laugh.

Hmm, I agree - site's down for me too. Trace is failing as well.
The IP blocks going back to CAIS Internet in VA, whoever they are. CAIS.com redirects over to Ardent Communications though so I guess that's not too helpful.

DNS and Ping both fail for me too. If they were good, they've just fallen in a big heap suddenly.

Contact info for adultburst ends up on some russian site (hotbox.ru)

Might just be a spot of bother, but it couldn't come along at a worse time...

You also will find that most of the forum participants either do not offer adult hosting or don't discuss it. So, by its nature, you will not see a lot about any adult host here.

CAIS is/was a respectable, fairly large ISP here in the States, headquarted not too far from me in MAE East country. I think they were bought out by Ardent.
