No, miva is just a shopping cart.
For host with storefront and card processing, try
goemerchant.com (not sure if they allow manual card transactions)

I was under impression that Miva is a storefront with a shopping cart. Some carts are described as storefronts.
What I'm looking is a Storefront with a shopping cart.
Or any other easy to use templates-based software, to build a storefront. I want to do that fast, and the storefront should look good. Later on I'm considering to use CoffeCup.
So,for now I need a webhost that offers a storefront with SSL, to get credit card numbers and to process manually.

Any recommendations for a good webhost with a storefront ?

Hi, if you know a little html you may be able to get Miva to work for you. To start you just may not be able to get too fancy with your layout and design until you get to know Miva. I dont know if you realize it or not but you can build the non shopping part of your site with whatever tools you want use and then just link to your storefront or shopping cart.

With Miva how problems crop up is if you build your site first and depending on how complicated it is, it can be time consuming and difficult to get Miva to have the same look and feel of the non shopping part of your site.

As far as web hosts, there are literally 1000's that use Miva. One in particular that i have heard good things about with regard to their Miva hosting is Netnation.com

As you probably know there are a kazillion carts/storefronts out there and it is a real labor to sift through them. I do it on a regular basis because I still havent found that "great" cart or storefront. Just when i think i have I find out it is missing a feature my customers find important. So...I keep looking.

I've meant online store, with templates for a fast building and design. With a shopping cart you still need to design a website and then to add a shopping cart. I'm looking for webhost that offers a ready solution incl. a shopping cart, just to fill blank spots with pictures,descriptions,prices...
