Greetings,

This is my first post and I am a new user of the Raq 4 Box.

When I attempt to boot my box... it stalls forever with the checking disk message in the LCD screen.

I am watching the unit through the console port and it hangs with the message "device eth0 entered promiscuous mode"

That is as far as it will go.

The box had been working a few days ago. Maybe a few power outages and improper shut downs and re-boots?

Any ideas? The unit has about 10 sites and lots of extra software on it.

Please see if the connection to the hard drive is connected. You can try to pull that hard drive and put it in a linux computer or another raq server that can handle two hard drives if you wanted to get that data off.
