I'm gonna buy a domain to my friend and I need to setup the DNS things. I signed up on EveryDNS and noticed this:


Points: 0
Penalties: 0


What do these points and penalties mean?:eek:

never used EveryDNS but I have no idea and coiuldnt find any info on their site about it.

Why would you use 3rd party DNS services in the first place?

Many registrars offer free DNS services with domain registration.

and many doesn't offer it for free too

never tried everydns, give zoneedit.com a try or afraid.org or sitelutions.com/info/sldns

why won't u try: dnspark.net ?
Points: 0 means u have donated them or haven't yet.
Penalties: 0 means u trying to hijack or do the "Q§$"§$§""§%"§%"§ thing with their server.

pssst, dnspark.net don't openly advertise it but if you signup your get two free domain tokens for free dns ;)

Another absolutely brilliant free service I have used is hn.org . Very reliable, haven't had an outage yet.
