View Full Version : Los Angeles colocation needed
StephenRS 01-22-2002, 12:26 PM Hi,
I'm looking for co-location provider in Los Angeles / Orange county.
I need 3u of racspace or 1/4 rack... I have three 1u servers.
Looking for about 150GB/month - or 256K / 384K if measured the other way.
Anyone have any recommendations?
.::DefCon::. 01-23-2002, 08:51 AM Check out http://www.colo.fm . I think they're from san francisco and they offer pretty competitive bandwith pricing.
They seem good.
Let me know how it goes? ;)
Take care.

Chicken 01-24-2002, 02:37 AM I think pajo has a building on Wilshire somewhere, but I am not certain where.
TheOtherside 01-24-2002, 09:57 AM $30.00 / 1Mbps at colo.fm....newbie question....is this like ummmm per month?
RH Robert 01-24-2002, 02:20 PM Additional to Chickens post:
www.pajo.com
700 Wilshire Blvd, LA
sell by colo or by partial rack
ReliableServers 01-24-2002, 02:51 PM Is pajo where that acsdatanet company has its servers? I remember seeing alot of posts about them a few months ago.
RH Robert 01-24-2002, 03:27 PM ACSDatanet gets a feed from them...they have their own datacenter. ACSData service should in no way affect how Pajo is viewed, as Pajo service is great! And they just happen to be physically near each other.

This is great info to know, thanks =)
StephenRS 03-04-2002, 03:51 PM update... acsdatanet is no longer with Pajo.
I am considering arpnetworks.com in Burbank. I suspect they are a porn host (search groups.google.com), but I don't care... my stuff is mostly network service tools. I am more concerned about their bandwidth quality than what their other customers are doing :)
I know pajo is good, but I'm already there... want a 2nd facility for redundancy.
From what I understand, netfido took over Pajo's old facility. They used to not have good 1u deals, but now they have a $99 deal with no setup... I think I'm going to give them a try.
Thanks.
