Hi everybody :-)

First of all, I want to thank you for this wonderful place where someone could much more easily find the truth about most of the hosting companies. I was tired of reading their ads and being sceptical to all these "pink" information I decided to find out what the real clients as me have as experience. So, this place is really helpful... It was real fun to discover some "underground" facts about the "grands" in the business.
I wish all the best to everybody who shares his/hers knowledge here. Thank you for helping to not reinvent the wheel for everything :-)

Now about my one and only simple question:

Can somebody recommend me web host having the following:

- Java based technology - servlet/JSP
- RDBMS of some kind - MySQL, PostgreSQL or something
- eventually J2EE Application Server - Orion or something
- good price/quality ratio - I am not looking for the cheapest host, but somewhere in the middle of the list... or little bit higher maybe :-)

There are ideas about taking all the server side support software from open source projects (MySQL, JBoss, Tomcat, etc), which means that a host who gives me opportunity to install/administrate this site by myself would be fine too.

What do you think ?

Thanks

:)

We're hosting our site and Java based forum on http://www.ragemedia.ca
They offer Jboss 3/Tomcat 4 bundle and PostgreSQL
database. So far we're extremly satisfied with them.

Post these in the requests forum ^_^! Much more likely to get a response in there :).

I think that's a very savy decision, specially for JSP/Servlets Hosting.

JSP/Servlets its a different kind of animal, and normal rates do not apply to it.
