Hello, I'm new to using the WHM software, so maybe its me.
After I create a user account, log-into cpanel and try to create
a subdomain it errors out with:

Can't lookup realgamers.net test.realgamers.net could not be modified because it does not resolve to a valid ip address. Please ask the system admin to check their resolv.conf and their dns trust relationship Ignore any messages of success this can only result in failure!

and I have:

domain darkorb.net
search darkorb.net
nameserver 205.162.50.248
nameserver 66.96.193.2
nameserver 66.96.194.2

in my resolv.conf

I tried searching google.com but no results came up, please help
thank you! :bawling:

I don't have a login/pass because I got it from VDI when I ordered
a dedicated server. I would call VDI but its 4am

Edit: I found the correct registration link, the one on the main page
just refreshs the page. I had to go to the login screen and click
the register link from there. Thanks!

Yes, that was the problem actually. I was making accounts with
'unlimited' everything but that made the sub domain value 0
needless to say that enabling sub domains on the account fixed
the problem ( by adding a wildcard in the DNS zone file )

Thanks for everyone’s replies and help, I really appreciate it.

Yes, I registered an account on CPanel.net message boards and
found out that could be fixed by running /scripts/fixndc
