This has been discussed countless times: it really depends on your system administrator's skills. Windows is actually quite stable.

I'd make that claim pretty much for 2k3. The difference in stability (speed and security as well) b/twn 2k and 2k3 is night and day.

Basically find the one your most comfortable in and use that. As long as you follow the best practices for both you shouldn't run into problems with either.

Have proof to your claim of windows instability? or linux stability?

problems exist for both platforms, use whichever one you are comfortable with.

Your post doesnt really make any sense, but I will bite.

What do you mean by "well modded windows"?

After dealing in both for awhile now, I have to say: Someone needs to come up with a free, COMMANDLINE windows firewall that stores its information in a config file and not a braindead GUI.

I find linux INFINITELY easier because I can script everything, and I do mean everything. However, if you like to poke around in GUIs I think linux may be frightening to you. However, once you revel in the joy of logging into 50 separate windows boxes to change some esoteric setting 5 layers deep in a GUI, you may begin to understand where I come from when I say.. long live the commandline and text files :)
