I want to register a ne pair of nameservers but as I have asigned two other ip addresses to the domain (my previous nameservers) it does not accept them.

How can I unregister previous nameservers to be able to register new ones.

I'm not sure what the process is at registerfly - you should probably contact their support and find out - but you need to make sure that there are no domains that still reference those nameservers or you will not be able to remove them from the registry.

But how this is possible.

For example you have some customers then how can you remove their nameserver settings to be able to change IP Addresses of your nameservers?

1- The only solution that comes to mind is to create a temporary name server.

2- Set customer's nameservers to it.

3- Now remove nameservers from main domain's nameserver and assign new IPs.

4- Finally set customer's nameservers to main domain's nameservers.

Am I right?

I'm not entirely certain what it is you want to do or have now?

Far as I can tell, you had nameservers, for example:
ns1.old-domain.com
123.123.123.123
ns2.old-domain.com
123.123.123.124

And what you'd like to do is register new nameservers using the same IPs as before?

Why not just register new nameservers with new IPs?

No, It seems he needs the same domain name but with different IP Addresses.

i.e based on your example:

ns1.old-domain.com
123.123.10.10
ns2.old-domain.com
123.123.10.11

If that's the case, then either login to domain at registrar and make the changes or email registrar asking to update IPs to the new ones. I just had to do this with enom (they don't have an interface to modify nameservers).

I think registerfly uses enom anyway, but yes you need to email registerfly and ask them to change the IP's for the name server hosts.. that is the way.

While unlikely without some bureaucratic glitch, you could possibly contact enom [info@enom.com Att. Billy] direct if you can't get registerfly to respond, as they will likely have to do it anyway..

It takes the normal time to propagate by the way...
