Ok, here's the situation... I've been using a virtual hosting company for about 1month now, they were fine, until our site got pretty busy. Our site pulled in 52gb in under 20days, so my host asked me to get a dedicated server instead. So I take his advice, and the owner of our site gets a dedicated host... Everything goes well, until I login the control panel. Than I know it's problems.. The control panel has no options at all. I can't create subdomains, ftp accounts, ssh accounts, create databases, delete databases, the list goes on.. so I try to get past it. I call her, and give her 3 more databases to add. Anyway, after 5hrs she adds the databases, so I check, and I'm happy, until I find out she didn't give me the passwords for any of them. So I use the original mySQL db password, and still nothing, it won't work. I emailed her about 20 times, asking her what's going on.. nothing! So I try to work around it again.. I start uploading my .php files to the server, and everything is fun, until I run them.. I get error's right and left, so I try to work around it.. I upload cgi files, and edit .htaccess, etc.. and run it, than I get a 403 error! So now I'm pretty pissed off! :angry:. I'm in serious need of a dedicated host who has everything from a-z, reliable, and somewhat cheap. Any suggestions, because I'm about to crack my head on this laptop. :(
