I am looking for a reasonable cheap dedicated server that I can use for web hosting. I'm not looking to spend too much but something faily cheap and reliable. Upgrade options are also very good. Has anyone heard of http://www.2bm.com Their prices are very low $135 for server and 10 IPs but I don't know anything about them. Something in that ball park will be great but it has to be ready for hosting.

I find this... hmmm weird. Anyway, The privce you are looking for is quite reasonable and you should be able to find something that interest you pretty much everywhere.

I heard good comments about http://www.tera-byte.com particulary, but I never experienced them myself.

Cheap and ready for hosting? Does that go together? Might want to choose, 'a bit more expensive' and less prone to constant problems just to save yourself the future headaches. Just my worthless commentary :)

I wonder how long it will take for them to answer / remove the stolen graphic from my page... We can use that as a meter for their hability to solve issues if you want to.

(I never thought that anyone would bother stealing such a crappy graphic anyway... that tells a lot about them)

<edit>it took exactly 11:48 to remove the graphic. They told me it had been made by their web designer, long gone, 1 year ago... Anyway, thats a bit better</edit>

I know the two words don't go together but this is what I mean. This server isn't going to house allot of people from the beginning so I'm not looking for all the bells and whistles right now. I just need a small, good, and reliable server with the basic hosting software including a control panel to start. I can upgrade later. I can actually build the server but I don't want to get into that but I know I can do it for a whole lot less. The $135 price at 2bm didn't include any billing system but did include a control panel webmin. For some reason or another I just don't feel confortable with what I see. I was trying to get input from others here.

Oh, I did see the graphics!! :)
